The Faculty Development Cell organized a one-day workshop on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Lecture Series – “CO-PO Mapping (Part 1)” to enhance faculty members’ understanding of the Outcome-Based Education framework and its effective implementation in academic practices.
The session was delivered by Dr. S. C. Jirapure, Principal, Dr. Rajendra Gode Institute of Technology & Research (DRGIT&R), Amravati, who provided valuable insights into the concepts of Course Outcomes (COs), Program Outcomes (POs), and CO-PO Mapping. The session focused on the importance of outcome alignment, assessment methodologies, and documentation practices required for continuous improvement and accreditation processes.
The workshop guided faculty members in developing effective course planning strategies and understanding the systematic approach for mapping course outcomes with program outcomes. The session proved beneficial in strengthening the implementation of OBE practices and promoting quality enhancement in technical education.
