Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech. Admission

1. Should be a citizen of India

2. Candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology with an aggregate of 50% marks or above

3. Minimum aggregate has to be 45% in the case of Maharashtra state candidates belonging to the Backward Class or Persons with Disabilities

4. Candidates should hold a positive score (Non-Zero) in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026)

5. For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm or company or industry or educational and or research institute or any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field.(Performa P&Q)

Admission Process for M.Tech.

1. The candidates should apply online on www.mahacet.org as per schedule

2. It is compulsory to pay Rs. 1200/- (One Thousand and Two Hundred) for Open Category and RS.1000/- (One Thousand) for SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC/SEBC and EWS, at the time of registration.

3. Do not share the Password and ID with anyone.

4. Physically verify and upload documents at the Facilitation Center.

5. Provisional Merit list will be displayed.

6. Grievance period for corrections or queries.

7. Final Merit list will be displayed.

8. Fill out the Option form for Round1.

9. Seat allotment for Round1.

10. Report to the college or choose to freeze the allotted seat.

11. Follow the same process from Point No. 8 onwards for the subsequent rounds
